The Massachusetts Water Works Association, Inc. is a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of the drinking water profession. Through education and advocacy, MWWA is committed to protecting public health and providing a safe and sufficient supply of drinking water to Massachusetts consumers.

We are very excited to unveil a fresh new look for the MWWA website. This new website provides all of the same valuable information as our old site, but with enhanced functionality. We have many new features including: on-line registration for training and events, a members-only login area that will allow members to update their membership profile, access current and archived editions of the H2O Pump newsletter, obtain information on our advocacy efforts and our on-line member directory. Safe Drinking Water Act Assessment’s Annual Report to the Legislature
Award Nominations Now Being Accepted
It's that time of year to start thinking of our annual award nominees. Awards are presented to recipients at our Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet, this year to be held on November 12, 2010. Please review the Nomination Form and submit complete applications by July 1st, 2010.
NEW EPA Video "Water You Waiting For?"
“Water You Waiting For?” is a 12-minute video showcasing the water profession for high school and/or vocational technical school students. This video highlights the water profession in four areas—the value of water, job responsibilities, career successes, and environmental contribution. The video is designed so that each of these chapters can either be viewed separately, appealing to that student’s curiosity, or can be viewed in it's entirety. Electronic Annual Statistical Reporting Information
Due to technical difficulties with the eDEP website causing severe performance issues (extreme slowness) the MassDEP Drinking Water Program is extending the due date for Public Water Systems to file their electronic Annual Statistical Reports (eASR) until July 9, 2010.
eDEP users may experience acceptable response times on off peak hours (nights and weekends), however, if you don’t feel the response times are reasonable please save your work and try at a later date. Updated messages regarding the extension and eDEP performance will be posted on the eDEP login page. A team of DEP IT staff is actively working on diagnosing and fixing the problem.

Scholarship Information
Each year, MWWA presents scholarships to undergraduate students of higher learning whose parent or grandparent is an MWWA member in good standing for a minimum of 3 years. The award will be presented to recipient(s) at the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet. Scholarship Applications can be downloaded here.
