CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

This half day training will provide utilities with useful information and examples on preparing both asset management plans and capital improvement plans. Information on Massachusetts asset management grant program will be presented. The training will also cover communication strategies for getting community buy-in for infrastructure planning and investment.

 Learning Objectives:

 Review the components of asset management and capital improvement plans;
 Learn about the Massachusetts asset management grant program;
 Discuss some useful communications strategies to garner local support for projects.

 This course is approved for 3 TCHs (Training Contact Hours) for Massachusetts Water and Wastewater Operators. It will be taught using the Zoom platform.  Participants will need to have a reliable highspeed internet connection and computer device with both video and audio capability.  Please review our Student Expectations for Attending Virtual Training at  www.masswaterworks.org/education.
