Navigating Treatment Plant Residuals - Challenges & Solutions for MA Utilities

This half day course presents the common challenges faced by water utilities, exploring the varying characteristics and treatment requirements for residuals generated from both surface water and groundwater sources. Participants will gain insights into regulatory considerations specific to Massachusetts - including PFAS implications. Attendees will hear from two surface water and two groundwater plants – showcasing their real-world approaches, challenges overcome, and innovative solutions in residuals management.
