An Active member of this association shall be an individual who is directly employed by a Public Water System. |
| Affiliate |

An Affiliate member of this association shall be an individual who is not directly employed by a Public Water System. |
| Student |
$35 |
A Student Member shall be an individual enrolled in high school or post-secondary programs who demonstrates their enrollment and has reasonable interest in the water works profession. Student Membership shall terminate upon completion of the Student Member's graduation or departure from the institution. |
| Semi-Retired |
$35 |
A Semi-Retired Member shall be a member in good standing at the time of transfer to this membership class, who, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, has essentially retired from active employment but continues to work part-time. Click here for the application for semi-retired membership status

| Retired |

A Retired Member shall be a member in good standing at the time of transfer to this membership class, who, in the opinion of the Board of Directors, has fully retired from active employment. Click here for the application to apply for retired membership status. |
| Honorary |

Honorary member shall be a person of eminence in some branch of water works practice or water works engineering, or a member who has been outstanding in their promotion of the welfare of the Association or of the water supply profession. (DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AFTER NOMINATION BY THE MWWA NOMINATING COMMITTEE)

A Utility Member shall be a Public Water System, or company as otherwise determined by the Board of Directors. Each Utility Member shall receive a designated number of individual memberships per their level, to be reported annually to the Association. |

Utility Advantage Program
In an effort to better serve our members and expand upon our advocacy and outreach, MWWA has implemented a special Utility Advantage Program. Funds from this program further support the important work that MWWA is doing on behalf of water professionals.
